The house I grew up in burned a couple years ago. It was built in the late 1800s.
Luckily, the fire occurred during the day and Mom and Dad were not home. They did lose all their pets, however.
After the fire, the house was a total loss and had to be torn down. I was not there during that time, but my family took pictures and I, well, memorialize the event here.
